1. What inspired you to go to your first rowing practice; was there anything memorable about it?
Free food.
2. Was there a practice, race or other event when you fell in love with the sport, or when you knew you might not be too bad at rowing? When you thought you could make the national team?
I have not fallen in love with the sport. I've never thought I could be good at rowing, I just don't take 'no' for an answer. I never thought I could make the national team, I just hate losing.
3. Best race/practice, worst race/practice?
I make all my practices good practices. Have yet to have my best race...still working on it.
4. Best/Anything you've done in the sport no one knows about?
My secret love affair with Dan Walsh. (sorry ladies)
5. Any/Most important advice for young rowers?
Erg with your feet out. And don't let others impose their own limitations on what you can achieve.
